Mission & Vision
The mission of the CARE Collaboration is to transform the way we assess, apply, and share knowledge about caregiving and attachment to bolster the workforce responsible for shaping children’s lives during crucial moments in their development.
The vision is to address knowledge gaps, enhance global partnerships, and ensure culturally responsive solutions, especially in underserved contexts. Over time, we aim to create a supportive network environment that connects diverse global partners with both well-served and underserved communities, with plans to expand efforts to low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
About us
We are a consortium of over 300 international researchers, clinicians, and partners collaborating to bridge the research-to-practice gap in child attachment. Our diverse team is dedicated to advancing knowledge and practices in child attachment to ensure the well-being of children worldwide. Through our collective expertise and collaborative efforts, we strive to make meaningful contributions to the field and promote secure and healthy attachment relationships for all children.
